Today is Thanksgiving. From all the social media postings I have read today, it is nice to see the world is filled with people who are thankful, grateful, blessed, and live amazingly wonderful lives.
As for me, I just go day to day and try to avoid the darkness that can envelope me. I try to remain positive and shine whenever possible. I am not posting this while sitting on a sun drenched beach in an exotic country with a beautiful woman at my side and my favorite beverage in my hand. No. That is not my current reality and likely won't be any time soon.
I live a simple life. I have simple dreams. I am a simple man. I am flawed. And I am perfect. I wouldn't want to be anyone other than who I am. For that, I am grateful. I am also grateful I am not a turkey!!! Happy Thanksgiving...
