For those who know me, I am often reading, researching, or asking questions about something. I learn and gather information from countless sources. I also work with various teachers and mentors. I even attend seminars, classes, and retreats when possible.
I like to believe the topics of what I study are diverse. As I learn more, it occurs to me there are so many parallels. While the topics may seem diverse at initial investigation, deeper study reveals many common threads to the teachings.
I recently took an 8 week class series from a Shaman from Peru who I have worked with for years. I spent two days this week at a real estate sales seminar. While both presenters used very different words and styles, a common message was basically to be mindful and aware of what you think and what you say.
I believe the following short video to be a great example.
